Dmitry Mukhin is an Associate Professor of Economics at the London School of Economics (LSE). He is also a research affiliate of the Center for Economic Policy Research (CEPR) and an associate at the Centre for Macroeconomics (CFM). Prior to joining the LSE, he worked as an assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He received his B.A. from Moscow State University, M.S. from New Economic School, Ph.D. in Economics from Princeton University, and spent a year as a postdoctoral associate at Yale University. He serves on the RES editorial board and is the recipient of the Kiel Excellence Award and the Robert Lucas Prize. His research focuses on the exchange rates, international monetary system, optimal monetary and fiscal policy in open economies.
