Camelia Minoiu is a Research Economist and Advisor in the Research Department the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. Previously, she worked at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors and the International Monetary Fund. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Columbia University. Her research focuses on financial intermediation, bank regulation, international finance, and development, particularly the effects of macroeconomic policies on banks and firms, emphasizing the role of financial sector development for economic growth. Her work has been published in several peer-reviewed journals, including the Review of Economics and Statistics, Review of Financial Studies, Journal of Financial Economics, and Management Science.
